Anne Lilia Berge Strand, to most of you better known by her stage name Annie, is a Norwegian indie artist with one eye on the dance floor. She refers to her music as ‘pop with strange edges’, with immediately listenable sounds and utterly beguiling; mainstream and underground all at once.
Annie’s debut album ‘Anniemal’ and its lead single ‘Chewing Gum’ put her on the brink of global stardom in 2005. Four years later, the artist and DJ released her second album, ‘Don’t Stop’– an album that will pulled off the tricky task of pleasing Annie’s existing fans while still managing to make her something of a household name.
This year, eleven years since her first performance at Numusic, Annie and Mikal Tellé are putting together a massive Datarock afterparty at Tou Scene.
