“Aerial drones, psychedelic suggestions and inspired melodies”. Sleepyard is brothers Oliver and Svein Kersbergen’s lovechild, a homage to the psychedelic 60′s, krautrock, Beach Boys and Stockhausen (among other things). They have released four acclaimed albums, including 2009’s “Future Lines” and they often collaborate with musical legends from the past and present (Spacemen 3’s Sonic Boom, Hawkwind’s Nik Turner, and American pianist Mike Garson a.o.). The band is currently working on a new album called “Black Sails” which explores a more electronic sound.

This Is Music Inc

This Is Music Inc is a somewhat reclusive band lead by ex-Årabrot bass player Jon Øvstedal. Drawing influences from pastoral 60′s pop, prog rock, punk, 80′s new wave, the music is hard to pin down, familiar yet strange. They’ve released three albums and a couple of singles and EP, the latest and perhaps most important one being the fabulous “Krasjnapolis” LP released this summer to great reviews. According to Groove.no: “put together in such a charmingly fragile way it reminds of a house of cards. This results in the most un-perfect and perfect album you could lend your ears to”.
