Insomnia Festival presents F.A.C.E!

F.A.C.E. is from Tromsø in the far north of Norway, and play electronica with a hint of indie pop. The trio consists of Per Kristian Fox Trollvik, Paulo Velasquez and Øivind A. Sjøvoll. The F.A.C.E. project is their mutual lovechild, they all have other projects: Per Kristian is a classical trained pano player, and is singer in the prog-pop band 22, Paulo is drummer in the hardcore band Turdus Musicus, and Øivind is DJ, club organizer and is also behind the electronica project Kohib.

The F.A.C.E. project was concieved by Per and Paulo on the way home from a nachspiel: why not make electro-pop?? Øivind soon joined forces with them as band member and producer, and magic things started to happen.

All in all an unpretentious salute to everything fun! With lyrics that balance between the childish and the weirdness of the subconscious mind, it’s hard not to get carried away…
