///////////////INSOMNIA FESTIVAL PRESENTS:

Numusics northern relative, Insomnia Festival, got the honour to curate a Tromsø showcase at this years festival. The festival has its base in Tromsø as the city was Norway’s capitol of house and techno when the genre emerged, and some say it still is! Insomnia Festival runs as a non-profit event, with our main goal to create an artistic melting point and an important platform for innovative artists above the arctic circle. The festival is proud to rebuild the techno-city reputation, and when it all seamed dead, new releases are popping up this spring!

KOHIB and F.A.C.E made the crowd go wild at Insomnia 2009 and was immediately signed to the local label Beatservice runned by Vidar Hanssen which also is one of the founding fathers of Insomnia Festival.

TAIGATROST is the project of Gaute Barlindhaug (Kolar Goi/ Aedena Cycle) and Anette Tunheim Jakobsen (Festival manager Insomnia) who till now have spent more time organizing Insomnia than working on their music, but soon there is a full length album ready for the world, we hope!
