Starting as a hobby in 1998, Moshi Moshi Records slowly started to build a reputation for interesting, slightly leftfield, low-key releases. In 2004, it all changed. The three founders turned hobby into business, and began working full time with their record label. More artist signed with the label, and it quickly reached a high profile.

In late 2006 the two remaining Moshi Moshi founders decided they wanted to get back to their one-off 7” release roots and the Moshi Moshi Singles Club was born. Today, the Moshi Moshi roster makes an impressing list – including among others Kate Nash, Lykke Li, Casiokids, Late of The Pier, Friendly Fires, Florence and The Machine and The Drums.
