Nils Petter Molvaer enters Folken with his companions Stian house (guitar) and Erland Dahlen (drums), two distinctive voices that has in recent years has added to Nils Petter’s musical material fresh references from rock, noise and improvisation. The new album features heavy beats in dark and evocative landscapes. Nils Petter Molvaer consolidated his position in Norwegian music with the album “Khmer” in 1997 and put this premise to a whole new musical direction here at home. Inspired by the ambient, house, electronica, breakbeats, and elements from hip hop, rock and pop music shaped the music for an intense and dramatic scenery, enhanced by lighting design.
The concert is held in cooperation with Numusic.
