Put Your Hands Up for Neo-Tokyo (NO)

PUT YOUR HANDS UP FOR NEO-TOKYO can best be described as a mix of electronica, hip-hop, rock, pop, avantgarde, r&b, jazz, blues, reggae, folk, country and awesome; played by robots intent on saving humanity from an impending apocalypse.
The band has its origins in NJAAL, known for his live shows together with other acts , such as Syme, Terry Poison, Robert Leiner and solo-performances on the now legendary spot Strædet in Bergen – in addition to Numusic.
Njaal has published with the labels Powerblytt and Digitalo in Bergen, but with PYHUFNT one has ventured out into the great cosmos: The lyrics and complexity are illustrious elements; something you don’t see or hear much of these days.
PYHUFNT is inspired by everything from This Heat, Aphex Twin, The Diplomats, Wolf Parade, DJ Shadow and Robert Owens.
The result is something brand new and – dare we say – “unNorwegian”.
