Sandra Kolstad makes electronic music. Dark and danceable, explosive and extravagant. She has seduced audiences with her strong live performances, in countries as Norway, Sweden, France, Denmark and Germany and is confirmed to Øya Festival 2011 and more to come. Giving new life to synthesizers and drum machines, Sandra Kolstad is an artist that fascinates and captures.

 

Sandra Kolstad lives in Berlin and Oslo and her debut album, Crux, was released on the 29th of April. The album is produced by Sandra Kolstad, in close cooperation with Frans Petter Eldh. It was partly recorded in a swedish forest with sound artist Isak Eldh. The artwork for the album is made by italian artist Marco Bruzzone.

BN Visuals 

Birk Nygaard aka: VJ BN works primarily with video art to music, both live and published form. including IKONIKA, Jazzsteppa, Quart 330, 6 000 and the Shining, but also works with more personalized / earmarked visual representations of the band projects including The Megaphonic Thrift. He has worked with dance and theater companies through Teatergarasjen and Bergen International Festival. He also collaborates with Norwegian designers Alexander Helle (Norwegian Rain). VJ BN moves in a free visual landscape where good aesthetics and unpredictability is the only leading principles.
