Ultra Sheriff is a biomechanical trio from beyond the stars, committed to the annihilation of mankind. Cartoony space chaos packed with catchy tunes and robotic apocalypse – Ultra Sheriff embraces and explores the potential of science-fiction and 80s aesthetics. The live shows can best be described as a sensory overload, combining synchronized animations with dance friendly beats and epic melodies. This is an audiovisual attack you will be powerless to resist – please cooperate!

Ultra Sheriff started out as a home studio project in Trondheim in 2007, when brothers Edvard and Torjus Førre Erfjord from Stavanger met Nils Iver Holtar from Oslo. The conceptual nature of the band was immediately realized, and the following two years were spent on songwriting, as well as acquiring the technical skills required to perform live. In May 2009, Ultra Sheriff played their first concert, complete with synchronized visuals made by the band’s animator, and fancy space costumes and helmets. Since then, Ultra Sheriff have played Folken twice, concluded the animation festivals in Volda and Fredrikstad, and also visited Hamar. For 2010 there are several gigs lined up and more still in the pipeline, and the live show is ever updated with new songs and visuals. The response has been overwhelming, and with the release of the debut album Galactic Fame coming up, everything is ready for the robotic invasion.
