The Norwegian space-disco master Hans-Peter Lindstrøm has already released one album this year: Six Cups Of Rebel, a weird detour into proggy studio-pop. But he’s already planning another one, and if first single “Rà-àkõ-st” is any indication, it’ll be a serious return to form. The track’s extended version is nearly nine minutes of toothy Italo that could’ve soundtracked a chase scene in an ’80s sci-fi B-movie. Todd Terje mixed the track, and it’s a monster. Download it over at Stereogum.
